The Scenic Stevens Creek Trail

With more than 30 years of professional experience in the technology sector, Mehrdad Nayebi is the president and CEO of Niham Technology, an early stage high-tech incubating organization located in Mountain View, California. There are numerous scenic footpaths near this Northern California company, and Mehrdad Nayebi enjoys walking trails when he is away from work.

The almost six-mile Stevens Creek Trail is a multi-use trail consisting of two segments that follow Stevens Creek through parts of Cupertino, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View, California. The green space consists of 100 acres along the creek, and the scenic route attracts runners, walkers, hikers, bird watchers, roller skaters, and cyclists. The riparian habitats and the tidal marshlands along the path provide homes to native wildlife, including raccoons, quail, swallows, and opossums.

Primarily flat and completely vehicle free, the trail offers an appealing alternative commute to the area’s often congested highways. The main entrances to the trail that offer parking are at Shoreline Park in Mountain View and at McClellan Ranch Preserve in Cupertino.
